Your information, explained app by app.Local app features, browsing, website connections, support messages and store purchases handle information in different ways. Find what each app processes, where it is kept and the choices available to you below.
Privacy policy
Robin’s Digital Designs is operated by Robin Jones (“we,” “us” or “our”). This shared policy covers Cache Trash, Wifi Painter, Kick 1080p and Terms Agent, this policy website, and support we provide for those apps. It explains both information processed on your device and information received by us or service providers.
It describes the current local-processing versions of these apps. The Terms Agent section also explains earlier account-enabled versions. Other products and future features are covered only when they are expressly added here or have their own notice.
Our approach
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. The current apps do not automatically send us your browsing content, Wi-Fi scans, file inventories or app-usage analytics. Local processing still involves information, and permissions, local storage, and actions you choose are described below.
Information handled by our Chrome extensions is used only for their disclosed, user-facing functions. Our use of that information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Cache Trash
What it handles. Cache Trash examines supported cache locations and installed app information on your Mac. This can include file and folder names, paths, sizes, timestamps and other metadata. Reviewed cleanup moves supported items into local recovery storage. If you separately turn off “Keep cookies & logins,” supported browser cookie databases and related files may also be moved. Recovery files can therefore contain personal website data.
What is saved. Preferences, recovery files, and operation receipts stay on your Mac. Receipts can include source and destination paths, file inventories, app names, dates, sizes and results. The default recovery and receipt folders are in ~/Library/Application Support/Cache Trash/; you may choose other recovery locations.
Permissions and control. You control Full Disk Access through macOS. A DNS reset asks for administrator authorization through macOS; the app does not collect or store your administrator password. Cache Trash does not upload scans or recovery files to us. Recovery files and receipts have no automatic expiry. Removing the app does not remove them: restore anything you need before managing or deleting those local files. Revoking access in macOS does not erase existing recovery copies.
Wifi Painter
What it handles. Wifi Painter reads nearby Wi-Fi names and access-point identifiers (SSIDs and BSSIDs), signal and noise levels, channels, bands, advertised security and available network-load information. It also reads available information about the Mac’s Wi-Fi connection. These observations are processed locally.
Location permission. macOS requires Location Services permission to reveal Wi-Fi network identities. Wifi Painter requests that authorization; it does not request geographic-coordinate updates or build a location history for us. You can revoke permission in macOS settings.
What is saved. Recent scan history is held in memory and ends when you quit the app. Appearance preferences, radio nicknames, mesh/device labels, assignments and pairing choices are saved locally; these records may include access-point identifiers. “Copy details” puts selected readings and labels on the system clipboard at your direction.
Your control. Use the app’s label and pairing controls to change saved information. Quitting clears the session’s scan history, but saved preferences and labels can remain after uninstalling. Removing all saved information requires managing the app’s local preferences or container as well; contact us for help.
Kick 1080p
What it handles. On supported Kick pages and matching embedded players, the extension reads the current page address, player quality choices, selected quality and video dimensions. It observes focus, visibility and interaction timing so quality adjustments can avoid interrupting you. It does not record what you type or collect chat messages, passwords or payment details.
What is saved. The enabled/disabled preference is saved in local extension storage. The extension can update Kick’s own stream_quality preference in website storage. Temporary playback and pause state stay in memory. The extension does not send this information to us or operate an analytics service.
Your control. Turn the extension off or remove it through your browser. Browser controls govern removal of extension data. Kick’s quality preference can remain after uninstalling; change it on Kick or clear Kick’s website data to remove it. Kick separately processes your streaming activity under its own policies.
Terms Agent
What it handles. When you use the reader, Terms Agent reads relevant page text, selected text, the page address, headings and policy links. It matches phrases locally to help explain policy wording. It does not send the text to an AI service or to us.
Website requests. The reader may request up to three directly linked policy pages from the same website origin. Those requests omit cookies and the referrer, but the website still receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address. Website operators handle those requests under their own policies.
What is saved. Topic pins, appearance settings where available, onboarding state and the optional cookie-notice setting are saved locally. Temporary session records can include policy addresses, titles, relationships and navigation status, but not policy text. Policy lists expire from use after 24 hours and pending navigation after five minutes; tab or session closure removes associated session records. Reader text and explanations stay in memory until the reader closes. The current app does not create decision receipts, sign you into a developer account or synchronize policies.
Your control. Cookie-notice hiding is optional and requires website access. Turning it off restores notices; revoke the granted website permission separately in your browser if desired. Hiding a notice does not accept or reject cookies or prevent tracking. Settings can remove data left by older versions. Browser controls govern removal of remaining extension data.
Earlier account-enabled versions. Some earlier Terms Agent versions offered optional accounts and synchronization of decision receipts, source excerpts, policy hashes, choices and preference information. Clerk handled authentication; Cloudflare provided the API, storage and related security logging. Updating the app or deleting local data does not establish that earlier server records were deleted. Contact hello@robinjones.work for access or deletion help. The earlier Terms Agent privacy notice remains available.
Website visits and support
This policy website. Cloudflare hosts and delivers this page. It receives technical request information such as IP address, browser information, requested address and request time, and may process service or security logs. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, marketing cookies, forms or browser storage to this page. Hosting security features may process additional technical information or use necessary cookies. See Cloudflare’s privacy notice.
Support. If you email us, we receive your address, message, attachments and other information you choose to provide. We use them to answer your request, troubleshoot problems and maintain relevant support records. Email providers process those communications. Please remove unrelated personal data from screenshots and diagnostics, and do not send passwords, payment-card numbers or recovery credentials unless an appropriate secure process has been agreed.
Stores and external sites. App stores, operating-system providers and websites you open handle their own installation, payment, diagnostic or website information under their respective policies and settings. Opening a support or website link makes a normal request to that service. Our local-processing statements do not describe those services’ separate activity.
Purchases and the separate storefront
This page does not take payments. As of the effective date, the public Robin’s Digital Designs storefront describes direct downloads as coming soon. Storefront-specific purchase notices and final sale terms must be provided before direct checkout opens.
The planned direct-sales service uses Stripe for checkout, payment, relevant contact and billing information, receipts and tax handling. We can receive or view relevant customer and order details; our website does not store full payment-card details. Cloudflare hosts the planned order and download service, including purchase references, product, amount and currency, agreement records, payment/refund status and protected download-access credentials. A checkout tab temporarily stores an order-access credential in browser session storage. These purchase records are separate from locally stored app information.
The storefront’s own notice describes its host and other website features. This shared notice does not turn proposed sales arrangements into an available service or replace the terms shown for a particular purchase.
Why information is used or disclosed
We use information we receive to provide requested support or services, maintain security, resolve issues and comply with applicable obligations. Service providers receive information needed for their role, such as Cloudflare for this page and legacy hosting, Clerk for earlier Terms Agent authentication, and email providers for support. Purchase providers apply where described above. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to address fraud, abuse or security incidents, subject to applicable law and our extension Limited Use commitments.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may be performing a requested service or contract, legitimate interests in support and security, complying with legal obligations, or consent where required. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Any transfers for which we are responsible must use safeguards required by applicable law; providers explain their own processing in their privacy notices.
Retention, deletion and your choices
On-device information remains under your control as described for each app. We cannot remotely inspect or erase information stored only on your device. Your own backups, clipboard synchronization, browser features or other software may retain separate copies.
Support records are kept as needed to resolve the request and for relevant follow-up, security, disputes or legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the record and the reason it is needed. Hosting providers apply their own service-log retention. Earlier Terms Agent account records may remain until addressed through the applicable deletion process. Purchase retention arrangements will be stated in the storefront’s finalized notice before direct sales begin. We do not promise that an app uninstall deletes provider records, support correspondence, backup copies or legal records.
Email hello@robinjones.work to request access, correction or deletion of personal information we hold. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may also have rights to a copy or portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local data-protection authority. We may need proportionate verification and may retain information where legally required or otherwise permitted. Exercising applicable privacy rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
These apps are general utilities and do not ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Security and policy updates
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is guaranteed secure. Protect your Mac, browser profiles, recovery files and download links. We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. New uses of information are not authorized merely by an unrelated change to our terms.
Terms of use
These terms describe use of Cache Trash, Wifi Painter, Kick 1080p and Terms Agent provided by Robin Jones, operating as Robin’s Digital Designs, and this policy website. They apply to the extent validly incorporated into your use or purchase under applicable law. Simply reading a privacy notice is not consent to data processing or a waiver of rights.
1. Your license and ownership
Subject to the terms that apply to your copy, you may install and use the app for its intended purpose on devices you are authorized to use. We retain rights in our software and designs. You retain rights in your own files, content and information.
If an app comes from an app store, that store’s applicable license and purchase terms govern the copy supplied there. For Apple-distributed apps, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies where no custom license is supplied. A separately supplied app license, an applicable open-source license, or purchase-specific terms take priority over conflicting general terms here. These terms do not expand a store license or replace terms already agreed for an existing purchase.
2. Responsible use
Use the apps only with files, devices, accounts and services you are authorized to access. Do not use them to gain unauthorized access, bypass payment or access restrictions, distribute harmful software, infringe another person’s rights or unlawfully interfere with a service. Do not resell or distribute our software except as its license permits. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law or an open-source license requires us to preserve.
3. What each app can and cannot do
- Cache Trash: Review cleanup choices before proceeding and maintain independent backups. Recovery storage is not a backup guarantee; moving files there does not itself free disk space. Recovery can fail or be limited by newer files, expired logins, permissions or unavailable locations. DNS and thumbnail-cache resets cannot be undone through recovery. No performance improvement or complete cleanup coverage is promised.
- Wifi Painter: Readings, grouping and visualizations are estimates based on observable Wi-Fi information. They do not guarantee speed, coverage, router location, geographic direction, device identity or interference diagnosis. Reported airtime is an access point’s observation, not a measurement of fairness between devices. Available readings depend on hardware, software, permission and local conditions. The app does not join networks or administer routers.
- Kick 1080p: Available quality depends on Kick, stream availability, account access, connection and browser behavior. The extension does not unlock restricted HD, start trials or bypass access controls. Selecting higher quality can use more bandwidth or increase buffering. Kick may change its player, affecting compatibility.
- Terms Agent: Phrase matches and explanations can miss important wording, exceptions or context. They are informational assistance, not legal advice or a determination that a policy is fair or enforceable. Read the original documents. The app does not accept terms, make cookie-consent choices, cancel subscriptions or establish your legal rights on your behalf.
4. Other services and compatibility
Apps can depend on operating systems, browser features, permissions or external websites. Those providers may change their services. Third-party services and content have their own terms. Kick 1080p is independent of and is not endorsed by Kick. References to Apple, Google, browsers or other companies do not imply their endorsement.
5. Purchases, refunds and updates
Prices, taxes, compatibility, payment, delivery, license scope, refunds and any renewal conditions must be disclosed by the applicable store or checkout before purchase. This general page creates no subscription or automatic renewal. Direct sales are still being prepared as described above; the storefront’s proposed arrangements are not an offer to sell through this page.
For app-store purchases, use that store’s purchase and refund process. For a direct purchase when available, the terms shown at checkout and mandatory consumer protections apply. Contact us about faults, incorrect charges or delivery problems. Nothing here removes rights concerning defective or misdescribed software.
We may release updates or change availability. No particular future feature, update schedule or period of compatibility or support is promised unless separately agreed or required by law. Changes to this page do not retroactively reduce rights attached to an earlier purchase.
6. Warranties and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any express promises made for your purchase, the apps and website are provided as available, without a promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. You are responsible for reviewing actions, maintaining appropriate backups and using the apps within their documented limits.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of the apps or third-party service changes. This does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud, intentional misconduct or other mandatory protections. Any applicable store license or purchase-specific liability provision takes priority.
7. Ending use and resolving concerns
You can stop using an app and remove it at any time. Local files, recovery records or preferences may remain as described in the privacy policy. Ending a paid license, if applicable, follows the license and refund terms for that purchase.
Please contact hello@robinjones.work if there is a problem so we can try to resolve it. These general terms do not require arbitration, waive class proceedings or restrict any court, complaint or regulatory rights you have under applicable law.
8. Changes to these terms
The effective date identifies this version. Revised terms apply prospectively where legally effective and after any required notice or agreement. They do not silently replace purchase-specific terms or reduce accrued consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder applies to the extent permitted by law.
